Presented by Cuesta Master Chorale
Featuring Cuesta Master Chorale and the Master Chorale Orchestra. Originally commissioned by Koussevistky to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Stravinsky's Symphony of Psalms is considered to be one of the highlights of twentieth century choral music. Mozart's "Great Mass" is aptly named as it incorporates not only soaring choral works but some of the most beautiful and memorable solo movements in the liturgical repertoire.
